FROM MILAN TO NEW YORK, WELCOME TO THE ULTIMATE SNEAKER ESCAPE

Our fashion buyers constantly travel the world to bring you the latest and greatest from the world’s most coveted luxury and high-end fashion designers, and with the FW23 already landing on our virtual racks and shelves, we want to invite you for a little journey.

Where are we going you ask?

Italy!

Talking about one of the world's most fashionable countries, what would you say Italy is most highly regarded for?

Is it their trendsetting, boundaries-pushing innovation in design? Or their mastery in creating impeccable, sharp tailoring? Would say it’s their long-standing tradition of craftsmanship and artisanal skills? Or the first thing that popped up in your mind was their sophisticated and trends-transcending elegance? Or perhaps luxury and globally recognized prestige? Or… a mix of everything?

In general, as you have probably realized by now, one of the things we are fascinated by is the delicious harmony of earthy hues. In particular, by the refined contrast of colors and textures the new season brings us. That’s why today’s journey is “down to earth”, fly in style, grounded in comfort, devoted to seven FW23 sneakers we thought you would love to have a closer look at.

Let’s start in Milan, one of world’s leading fashion capitals, home to many prestigious fashion houses, luxury brands, and influential designers.

Off to Florence… a major hub of fashion and style, particularly in the realm of luxury and high-quality craftsmanship. And, home to several major fashion houses, including Gucci.

Next stop: Corciano!

While this city may not have the same global recognition as the previous two, Corciano’s heritage in textile production and craftsmanship have contributed to the broader Italian fashion industry. Its traditional handwoven textiles and unique artisanal fabrics are often used by renowned Italian fashion houses and designers who appreciate both the artistry and the quality.

BRUNELLO CUCINELLI BASKET SNEAKERS

New sporty style in the Italian luxury fashion brand’s sneaker collection, these textured, paneled stunners fuse smooth and grained calfskin with washed suede in an eye-catching harmony of beige, cream, towny brown and grey.

Before we head back to the US, let’s spend a moment in Citanova Marche.

If this is your first time here, this city holds a significant reputation in the fashion industry for its excellence in footwear production. Citanova is one of Italy's main footwear manufacturing districts, with many coveted Italian shoe brands, including Enterprise Japan, having their manufacturing facilities or headquarters here.

ENTERPRISE JAPAN EJ ROCKET LOW-TOP SNEAKERS

When it comes Stefa Ebbasta and Domenico Formichetti’s Enterprise Japan, the first thing that always stands out is their attention to detail.

The new EJ Rocket sneakers combine calf and suede panels in a cocktail of milk, latte, white, black and grey with yellow and light savanna accents.

The urban-inspired sneakers come with the instantly recognizable EJ Rocket logo (talking about the attention to detail, this embroidered feature alone requires 3 different layers of leather and almost 3k machine stitches!), yellow embroidery, lightweight thermoplastic outsole with embossed signature graphics and EJ Rocket on the sole.

After almost 13h fight, we are about to land in LA, the entertainment capital of the world, known for its creative energy, vibrant and diverse fashion scene, and fashion influence extending way beyond its borders, making it a significant player in the global fashion industry.
