Luxe Insider avid readers know we tend to avoid the term ´must-have´. There are as many styles as pairs of eyes reading our write-ups, and the only person who should define something as a 'must-have' is you, the beholder. Our intention is to bring you the latest, the hottest, the rare and the hard to find, and support you in your uniqueness, asking you to stay picky in what makes you happy, your wardrobe choices included.

Having said that, in today’s episode of The Trend Tracker, we are Blazing Into FW24, focused on one of the essentials, par excellence, all of us, to some extent, or as a key piece use in our layering game: THE BLAZER.

The new season silhouette?

Besides the reimagined contemporary classics, we would consider either relaxed, oversized, slouchy pieces, or the new comeback path - the 50s style-reminiscent tailoring with cinched or hourglass shape.

Ready to embrace the blazer buzz? As always, the order is random.

SPORTMAX DOUBLE-BREASTED HOUNDSTOOTH BLAZER

Double-breasted silhouette in houndstooth patterned stretch gabardine, one of the many new season’s examples that when it comes to tailoring, Max Mara will always be on our go-to list.

It’s the tradition and expertise meet contemporary chic balance that makes us fall for their blazers season after season.

In this one in particular, is everything from the slim silhouette with sharp shoulders to the detailing, including peak lapels, button fastening, three-button sleeves, chest welt and flap pockets, plus, of course, the versatility when it comes to styling.

PRADA SINGLE-BREASTED PRINCE OF WALES CHECK BLAZER

Another super versatile choice. With hints of brown, pink, red, and burgundy alongside the classic ebony and ivory combo, this stunner showcases Prada’s signature blend of modernity and timeless sartorial appeal, offering endless possibilities for layering and styling.

Single-breasted, boasting a menswear fit, this is one of the most playful blazers from our new season edit.

More details? Virgin wool blend, single-breasted, notch lapels, flap pockets, three-button cuffs, sleeve logo patch, back vent.

MARELLA EDERA EMBROIDERED BLAZER

Is romance one of your middle names?

If so, Marella’s all-over rose embroidered pinstripe stretch canvas blazer might fit perfectly into your everyday-polished romantic-formal capsule collection. Edera might even be destined to be your next signature piece.

Double-breasted, semi-fitted, peak lapels, flap pockets, back vent.

TOM FORD THE JACQUETTA BLAZER

This stunningly textured piece would be our first choice if your request was: “for special occasions but outside of the tuxedo zone”.

Rendered in Multi Olive metallic silk bouclé, the blazer features double front dart to accentuate its fitted cut, peak lapels, chest and flap pockets, vintage gold-finish front and cuff buttons, and internal pocket.

Keeping in mind that YOU are the special occasion every single day, The Jacquetta can be basically considered one of your everyday go-to layers.

THE ATTICO POWER-SHOULDER BLAZER

If what you love, or what you want to add to your wardrobe, is “something black, sharply tailored, fashion-forward, hourglass and goes-with-everything from formal to denim, leather, tulle, lace and beyond”, The Attico single-breasted maxi-shoulder blazer would be one of our suggestions.

Made in Italy, this single-breasted wool blend masterpiece with power shoulders and fitted waist features wide peak lapels, chest and flap pockets, and signature logo-engraved buttons.

The Attico’s answer to “the best time to dress up?” is the same as ours: Anytime. Any day. Today. Now.

THE ANDAMANE OTTAVIA HOURGLASS BLAZER

This curve-loving piece is our second proposal of the day for the request above.

Cut from vegan leather, this head-turner has hourglass silhouette accentuated further with the exaggerated shoulders.

Made with The Andamane signature love and attention to detail, this attention-demanding contender with peak lapels and jetted welt pockets is blazing into FW24 packed with styling potential.

GANNI DRAPEY KNOT-BELT BLAZER

Last but definitely not least, as we could go on, and on (and on), is this knot-belt creation signed by Ganni, rendered in a gorgeous taupe brown hue, the brand calls Shitake.

Besides its peak lapels, concealed double-breasted closure, flap pockets and two-button cuffs, the most prominent detail of this blazer is its detachable belt, you can knot-tie one day, and leave at home the day after.

Your blazer, your way.

So, which one of these blazers has YOU written all over it?

Speaking about your name written all over...
