Debuting in 2016, the Gucci GG Marmont line is characterized by the Italian luxury fashion house’s signature Double G hardware, with most of the bags being made in matelassé chevron leather. The line, featuring the new flipped interlocking GG logo, offers different silhouettes, including wallets, flap or camera bags, and hobos.
GG Marmont line was inspired by Château Marmont’s 70’s bohemian spirit and glamour, and same as all the bags from the Alessandro Michele’s era, GG Marmont line is a tribute to Gucci’s heritage and innovation.

Gucci Ophidia Bags are a striking, vintage-infused combo of the brand’s signature elements: the GG insignia, GG canvas, and Web stripe. The line debuted in 2018, and is constantly evolving season after season. Same as the Dionysus line, Ophidia’s name inspiration has Greek origins.
The most popular Ophidia versions are the ones rendered in the classic beige and ebony GG Supreme canvas featuring the original mirrored GG motif, with the distinctive green and red Web stripe, and the Marmont GG logo, the contemporary version of Double G monogram based on the 70’s archives.

The name of the line, Horsebit 1955, references references the house’s iconic horsebit detail and the year it was first used by Gucci. Based on the vintage accent from the brand’s archives, the double ring & bar element is present on a series of different bag silhouettes.
The horsebit accent, a nod to the equestrian world, has been part of Gucci’s genetic code for almost seventy years now. Gucci Horsebit 1955, Alessandro Michele’s homage to Gucci’s rich heritage and craftsmanship, in particular to this signature element, was introduced in 2020.
