The forever chic whites are grabbing their well-deserved spotlight once more. From cloud whites to sea salt, ivory to alabaster, parchment to light stone, eggshell to seashell, pearl to porcelain, mascarpone to butter, coconut to vanilla, cotton to [fill in the blank]...
Stylistically speaking, the whites, when it comes to their timeless and always relevant modern appeal, and their impeccable, crisp simplicity, are simply brilliant, no wonder a namesake white hue is present on both the London and New York Fashion Color Trend Reports by Pantone. And no wonder they are set to become fashion’s biggest color trend this season and beyond, as the FW24 trend forecast includes a bright Lucent White, a soft White Swan hue, and a creamy white Almond Milk, among others.
Maybe the whites have always been part of your style language…
Or perhaps you have just envisioned your new, monochromatic, head-to-toe white approach to this trend…
Ooor maybe the white trend path you want to follow is the one of "here-and-there" or "bag only”… that’s something we don’t know.
What we do know is that whatever shade of white calls out to your wardrobe, we most certainly have it.
Last week we stopped at F, and that’s exactly where we’re going to start, inspiration-wise, today.
F for… FOUR STITCHES
When it comes to Maison Margiela lovers, the luxury fashion house's signature four stitches bring an instant “when you know, you know” moment of connection to the brand.
Five years young, the good-looking Snatched was introduced as part of the FW19 Artisanal Collection.
Asymmetric, genderless, origami-inspired, this little, crafted-in-Italy super-bag, gives you plenty of styling options from clutch to crossbody.
G for… GUCCI JACKIE 1961
Re-introduced for FW20, the new version of a Gucci icon comes with a detachable shoulder strap extender to adjust the styling and the drop to your liking.
Ready to pop the question?
This stunning reiteration of the legend, dressed in Mystic White, with the same curvy silhouette and the same gold-finish piston clasp closure as the original from the sixties, and with Italian origins, is ready to say "I do”.
H for… HAMMOCK, COMPACT HAMMOCK
The Compact Hammock, you can wear as folded or expanded tote, shoulder or crossbody, will celebrate its tenth anniversary next year, so we believe this innovative shape-shifter from Loewe’s creative kitchen needs no introduction, but it does deserve our full attention.
And we completely agree, the internal and external pockets are a huge argument extra in its favor.
The only question is, the full white, or this paneled bicolor soft white meets paper craft hue version?
I for… IVORY DILEMMA
If the question above felt like a no brainer, here we come with the next dilemma.
Decided for the Valentino ivory hue, would you go for the VLogo Leather shoulder bag with interlocking magnetic closure and two straps to play with, or the VLogo Moon hobo with a statement chain strap (and matching leather strap for added versatility)?
*If your Valentino Vlogo dilemma comes with more questions, like additional colors or silhouettes, you can find the solution here.
J for… JACQUEMUS: THE NEWS
Say hello to Le Calino, the much awaited new creation from Jacquemus SS24 Les Sculptures collection.
Rendered in nappa leather, this curved silhouette with engraved ring handle and magnetic closure, is now available in very limited stock.
Don't be fooled by the "petit" in the name, it has nothing to do with Le Calino's styling potential!
K for… ‘KAY, WE LEAVE YOU TO IT!
Found “the one” above? Congratulations!
Feel like you want more? Continue THIS WAY, we leave you to it.
If you’re reading this sentence, we want to thank you for spending another moment with us, and wish you the best of days.
Until next week!
Love, Lozuri
